In operation since 2003, ILT Brazil (Inter-Continental Leaf Tabacos do Brasil Ltda.) is based in Santa Cruz do Sul, one of the largest tobacco-processing centers in the world. Over the years, the company has strengthened its position in the tobacco market, maintaining contracts with a broad range of clients in the US, Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

With the growing demand for South American tobacco in 2007, ILT Brazil expanded its procurement area into its neighboring country, Argentina, which also offers excellent quality tobacco.

ILT Brazil is well established as a tobacco exporter, also operating in the market as a trader as well as a purchasing and procurement agent.
