TOBACCO EXPORTS
Well-entrenched as the largest tobacco exporter in the world, Brazil broke yet another important record in 2007. All told, 700 thousand tons were exported to more than 100 countries, generating a total of US$ 2.2 billion (FOB).

The Integrated Production System linking growers and tobacco companies has strengthened the Brazilian tobacco grower for close to 90 years and has served as the model for other crops and other countries.
